This is my most-shot black and white stock, largely because of how versatile and sharp it is. Unlike traditional B&W, this is a chromogenic film, meaning it’s developed in C-41 color chemicals. I find it has a finer grain than HP5 and handles contrast beautifully. I typically shoot this when I want a clean, classic look without the heavy "grittiness" of other stocks.
