Kodak Gold 200
This is my most-shot black and white stock, largely because of how versatile and sharp it is. Unlike traditional B&W, this is a chromogenic film, meaning it’s developed in C-41 color chemicals. I find it has a much finer grain than HP5 and handles contrast beautifully. I typically shoot this when I want a clean, classic look without the heavy "grittiness" of other stocks. While most of these are shot on my Leica M6 or Olympus Mju II, it’s also great for bright conditions and did well with my Canon Autoboy D5 underwater camera while I was at Rainbow Reef in Aulani.
